We felt like we got great value for our money with a beautiful and cozy cabin, complete with a log wood stove for added warmth and ambiance. The location was quiet and surrounded by beautiful buttercups, making it a truly picturesque setting. Scott and Nadia, the hosts, went above and beyond with their helpful guidebook and personalized touches, like arranging a banner for my partner's birthday.
The breakfast offerings could be improved.

The location of the hotel was incredibly peaceful and picturesque. Surrounded by beautiful flowers and fields, it truly felt like a magical retreat. the cabins were cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the shower in the greenhouse was a unique experience and the hot water was easily adjustable. the atmosphere and surroundings of the hotel were simply wonderful.
The presence of midges in the area. It's important to come prepared with insect repellent to avoid being bothered by them.

The natural surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, with a bed that gave us the best night's sleep in a long time. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean, making it easy to prepare meals. the hosts were incredibly sweet and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed.
Although the lack of Wi-Fi allowed us to fully disconnect and unwind, it would have been helpful to have a way to store the matches provided, as they became damp and difficult to strike. these minor inconveniences did not detract from the amazing experience we had at this unique and eco-friendly hotel.

Okay, okay, but it wasn't all bad. The location was pretty nice, I'll give it that. We were surrounded by nature and it definitely had that rustic charm. Plus, the shared facilities were well-equipped and clean. The greenhouse shower was actually pretty cool, with hot water and even shampoo and soap provided. It was a nice way to relax after a long day of hiking. And I have to say, the cabin itself was pretty cute and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and kept us warm throughout the night. Just wish the lighting and log burner situation was better.
My friends and I recently stayed at a glamping site in the Highlands and I have to say, I was a bit underwhelmed. First off, the lighting situation was a real pain.
